Laliga (Campeonato Nacional de Liga de Primera División) began its initial season on 10th February 1929.
Laliga is Spain’s top professional football level, a tribute to its significance. Laliga arose to create a competitive national football competition to unite clubs from different regions and also to offer a platform to exhibit Spain’s footballing skills.
